A Milan-inspired eatery in the Mother City is the best of both worlds. You get superb coffee and Italian gelato combined with the urban, eclectic atmosphere that is so true to Cape Town’s CBD.
MiCaffè Cape Town has now expanded its menu to offer breakfast and lunch. Chef Melissa Stevens (previously Kloof Street House, Kokomo, Chef & Farmer, Pesce Azzuro) created the menu incorporating Italian heritage into every dish.
For the most important meal of the day, breakfast options include a continental breakfast, muesli bowl, frittata with prosciutto crudo, stracciatella and a banting breakfast.
For lunch, a selection of tramezzinis, salads and other light meals like a lamb burger, farfalle pasta, and penne with sauteed porcini and grana padano are on offer.
Other treats are available too, like fluffy croissants to pair with your single-origin coffee or freshly-squeezed fruit juice to accompany your lunch. Step into a little Milan when you enter the shop, or soak up the hustle and bustle of the city outside. On the go? Pop by the takeaway window to get your cuppa on the run.
